Ben & Rose lived in this house until the resumption of the valley in 1966. The enclosed side sleep out was built in the mid 1950's with assistance from Syd Stephenson a neighbour. This extension was used for the childrens sleeping arrangements.

This house was built soon after the Crane family purchased the "Fairview" property. Unfortunately this is the site where Mr Crane (sen) suffered a "Heart attack" and passed away.

This report is submitted in good faith. All endeavours have been made to make all entries authentic and correct. For any corrections and additional valuable information, maps and photos you may have please contact John
