Died at her residence, Wagragiobilly yesterday, from pneumonia, after 36 hours' illness, Mrs Crane, wife of Mr. Joseph Crane of Wagragobilly.

Deceased was a native of England, and came to Australia with her parents over 70 years ago, when a wee girl.

For some years she resided at Beechworth (Vic), and came to Gundagai district nearly 50. yrs ago. When only 15 years of age

she was married to Mr Thomas Edwards the then owner of "Willie Ploma Station," and her husband died nearly 40 years ago.

Then deceased married Mr Joseph Crane, who survives her.

The living children by the first marriage are:

Mrs Joe Potter and

Mrs T. Argaet, South Gundagai;

Mrs.Clegg and

Miss Nina Edwards.New Zealand; and Messrs W. C. George,

James and

Jack Edwards.

By the second marriage the surviving, children are Mrs P. Pritchard, Sydney; and Messrs Reg.,

Walter,

Archie and

Harry Crane, all of Gundagai district.

A number of grandchildren and great grandchildren are also left.

The funeral will leave Wagga at a.m. to-morrow (Friday) for South Gundagai cemetery.
