1907 Kevin HALLORAN born to parents John & Lavina Halloran in TUMUT, - (Ref- NSW BDM 8390/1907). He was the eldest of six children.

Kevin - - In 1940 he married Miss Mary O'DONNELL in CANTERBURY. - (Ref- NSW BDM 17281/1940).

Kevin went to live and work in Sydney where he became an Apprentice Motor Mechanic. However after a time he returned to Blowering as he preferred to live in the country. He remaind on the farm which was about 8.5 miles from Tumut until his marriage.

He then decided to move and live closer to Tumut and commenced a Carrying Business.

Later he changed to Stock Buying.

TUMUT - Whilst on itheir way to town on Sunday, from East Blowering, Miss Kate Bourke, accompanied by her brother Frank, and Mr. Kevin Halloran, met with an accident. Miss Bourke was driving their car and when approaching Madden's corner, a cyclist was met, and in the endeavour to avoid a collision, she swerved the car off the bitumen and overturned it. The occupants managed to scramble out, Mr. Halloran being the only one hurt, receiving a wound in the head, necessitating a couple of stitches. GOCUP HEREFORDS SELL FOR £5,400 GNS - Hereford breeders from the Tumut, Tumbarumba, Gundagai and Cootamundra districts assembled at Tumut on Wednesday, when Dalgety's and Kevin Halloran sold the Hereford stud and herd of the Gocup Pastoral Co. Ltd. for a total of £5,400 guineas. Twenty-five cows aver aged 62 gns., and nine bulls 109 gns. Top price was 175 gns. for Bexley Minerva and her bull calf at foot, bought by the Berawinnia Pastoral Co., Cootamundra, and 125 gns. for Bexley Albany Lass, to T. Burbery, of Adelong. The stud sires sold to 300 gns. for Bexley Conqueror, to the Aberdeen Pastoral Co., Cootamundra, and 200 gns. for Gocup Conqueror to H. L. V. CAFF MARZOL WEDDING - The wedding of Miss Patricia Mary Marzol and Mr. Maxwell George Cafe was celebrated with Nuptial Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tumut, on Saturday last at 8 a.m., Rev. Father O'Brien officiating. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Marzol, of Tumut, whilst the bridegroom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Cafe, of Singleton and formerly of Tumut.

Mr. Max Cafe was a member of the staff of the Tumut branch of the Commonwealth Bank until his transfer' to Sydney, whilst his father was on the staff of the Tumut paper, for a time.

The church was decorated by the Children of Mary, of which the bride was a member, with hydrangea and lillies.The bride, who. was given away by her father, wore a gown of white lace over taffeta, featuring a tulle yoke and pleating and long sleeves pointed at the wrist. Her cuttulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet, with long trailers, of tuberoses, gladioli, carnations, hydrangea, dahlias and maiden hair fern.

Miss Frances Macadam attended the bride as bridesmaid, wearing an off the shoulder gown of pink frosted organdi, with white orPtandi collar and Dutch cap. She also wore pink mittens and carried a bouquet of pink dahlias carnations and gladi oli.

Mr Jim Marzol, brother of the bride, was best man. During the signing of the register Mrs. A. Cheney, who presided at the organ, rendered "Aye Maria." Sixty guests were later received at the Oddfellows' Hall by Mrs. Marzol, the bride's mother, who wore a grey crepe frock with pale pink and black .accessories and a spray of pink roses and car nations. She was assisted by Mrs. Cafe, the groom's mother, who wore a grey beaded frock, with vieux rose hat, black accessories and a spray of roseS.

Mr A. C. Macadam presided over the gathering at the wedding breakfast, at which the main attraction on the tables was the magnificent three tiered wedding cake made by and a gift from Mrs F Hoad and decorated by Mr. Colin Hoad. After justice had been done to the repast provided by the ladies of the 2.W.G. Club the following toast list was honored-—

"The Queen," proposed by the chairman; "The Bride and 'Groom," proposed by Mr A C Macadam, supported by Rev Fr. O'Brien and responded to by the groom, who proposed the toast to "The Bridesmaid," Mr. Jim Marzol responding;

'The Parents of the Bride, proposed by Mr. T. Webb, Mr. J. Marzol responding;

The Parents of the Groom,, proposed by Mr. D. Watson and responded to by Mr. George Cafe:

"The Caterers," proposed by Mr. Kevin Halloran and responded to by Mrs. B. Piper on behalf of the 2.W.G. Club;

"The Chairman," pro posed by Mr. W. Marzol and responded to by Mr Macadam.

When leaving for the honeymoon, which is being spent on the South Coast, the bride wore a dusty-pink crepe frock with navy acces sories. DEATH

In 1964 Kevin son of JOHN & LAVINA died in WAGGA WAGGA. - (Ref- NSW BDM 27492/1964). Unfortunately at the age of 57 years he was diagonised as having cancer and passed away in the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
