Henry "Harry" Myers, the son of Mr Thompson Myers Mr Thompson Myers and grandson of Mr David Myers was born in 1885 in Cooma, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 25655/1885) - the NSW BDM records show that Henry died in 1959 in Tumut, NSW at age 74 years.- (Ref- NSW BDM 36078/1959).

MARRIAGE

In 1916 Henry married Miss Helen M Campbell in Drummoyne, Sydney. NSW

STORY

Harry son of Thompson Myers and his brother Edward Myers in partnership purchased 340 acres from Mr Peter Beattie. Later Henry "Harry" brought Edward's share and his son Leo Myers took over the running of the property till the resumption.Another son Colin Campbell Myers brought the neighboring property on the northern side from Mr & Mrs Ray Johnson, who relocated further down the river towards Tumut.

1953 - Mrs. F. Myers and Mrs. A. Myers, of Blowering, Tumut, are holidaying with their sister. Mrs. Anderson, of Hamilton Road, Fairfield West, Sydney. - (Ref- The Biz (Fairfield, NSW : 1928 - 1954)(about) Previous issue Thursday 26 March 1953).

A working bee had been held at Brandy Mary's Flat and a number of elm trees donated by Mr E. W. Myers were planted, which will in a few years be much appreciated by picnic parties.
