In 1961, Tumut High School was established on its present site. Prior to this, Tumut Intermediate High School was situated on the existing Tumut Public School site in Wynyard Street.

To celebrate 50 years of secondary education at Tumut High School we are planning a week of activities commencing on Saturday, 30th July with the Anniversary Dinner and concluding on Saturday, 6th August 2011. Please note that the Anniversary Dinner date has been changed due to a shortage of accommodation in town.

These activities coincide with Education Week and it is fitting that we acknowledge our 50th year of secondary education within that week.

Former pupils, teachers and community members are invited to help us celebrate this milestone.
