Tumut Infants School - old

1888 - TUMUT, April 28. INFANT SCHOOL. - -The representations made to the Minister of Justice when he was in Tumut, in regard to the advisableness of building the proposed new infant school here of brick instead of wood, as specified in the tenders called for and to whioh I referred in my last letter, have proved effective, as a communication has been received by the secretary of our local Progress Committee intimating that the department has decided to invite tenders for a brick building. - (Ref- Australian Town and Country Journal (NSW : 1870 - 1907)(about) Previous issue Saturday 5 May 1888).
