He and his young family arrived at Port Phillip in Victoria on the ship "Ward Chipman" from Bristol in England. They departed Bristol on the 12 Aug 1841 and arrived in Victoria Australia on 6 December 1841.
On his daughters marriage certificate it states that William was a gold miner and Captain.
Sarah Adams YERBURY was born in 1833 in Frome, Somerset, England. She married Mr Charles Gilbert (2nd) LONG, They married in 1859 in Tumut, NSW - (Ref NSW BDM 3020/1859). Sarah died in 1902 in Lacmalac, via Tumut, NSW.
