An uniusual situation has arisen in connection with a main street block of land at Tumut Tumut Shire Council resolved at its recent meeting to apply for permission to resume the land, at the intersection of Wynyard and Capper Streets, to be used as a park for beautification of the town.
The owners of the land at the same meeting applied for permission to build on the land in question a motor garage and a block of seven shops with flats overhead.
