.1890 - ACCIDENT - [BY TELEGRAPH.] (FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.) TUMUT, TUESDAY. -
A serious accident happened to the Adelong mail coach this evening. When coming down hill near the Killarney and Gilmore roads the near front wheel came off, and the coach capsized. Glynn, the driver, was severely injured about the face, and a passenger named Dixon dislocated his ankle. Both were taken into Tumut in a cart. Thomas Nestor, landlord of the Woolpack Hotel, received a compound fracture of the leg and other injuries.
