In 1866 Mr Peter Briggs BEATTIE, was born Abt 1843 in Scotland,
He died on the 5th March, 1891, in Tumut, NSW.
In 1866 Peter Briggs BEATTIE married Miss Mary Henrietta McALISTER - (NORTON) in Tumut, NSW. - (Ref- 3197/1866).
DEMISE.- An old resident of the district passed away last week, in the person of Mrs. Peter Beattie, of Blowering, who died on Sunday last, at the age of 55 years. She was a native of the district, and a daughter of the late Mrs. Thomas M'Alister, the first white woman who come to Tumut.
Mary Henrietta was actually born Mary Henrietta McAlister in 1835 in Tumut, NSW and died in 1889 in Tumut, NSW at the age of about 55 years. Mary was the daughter of Thomas McAlister and Caroline Middleton who were related to the Warby's who had established a property at Darbalara.

2. Caroline NORTON born in 1859 and died in 1942 aged 83 years - - She had married Mr John HARTSHORN
3. Elizabeth NORTON born in Tumut in 1861 and died in 1919 in Tumbarumba, NSW -
4. Eliza NORTON was born in 1863 in Tumut and died in 1868 in Tumut, aged about 5 years -
5. James William NORTON was born in 1865 in Tumut and died in 1940 in Tumut, aged about 75 years.
1891 - After her first husband James NORTON died in 1865 she then married Mr Peter Briggs BEATTIE in 1866 in Tumut, NSW. Peter was born circa 1843 in Scotland and died in 1891 in Tumut, NSW at age 48. Parents not stated UNKNOWN & UNKNOWN died in Tumut, NSW-(Ref- NSW BDM 14560/1891)
1.1867 George BEATTIE parents PETER B & MARY H was born in Tumut, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 16779/1867) He married Miss Amanda Mary Cassidy who was born on 31st March, 1858 in Tumut, NSW. She died in 1936 in Marrickville, NSW at age about 78 yrs.
2.17113/1868 John James BEATTIE parents PETER B & MARY H was born in Blowering, via Tumut, NSW on the 16th October, 1868 - Then in 1906 John James married Miss Emma MORRIS in Tumut, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 8328/1906)Then on the 21st February, 1945 John James died in ADELONG, NSW at the age of about 76 yrs.- (Ref- NSW BDM 413/1945)

Then in 1902 David A P BEATTIE married Miss Harriette M MCKEY Miss Harriette M MCKEY in Tumut, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 7747/19020) Then in 1940 David died in Tumut, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 18778/1940) - Records also show that 1956 Harriette Maria BEATTIE (nee McKey) daughter of JOHN JOSEPH & CATHERINE in TUMUT - (Ref- NSW BDM 13955/1956).
4.18373/1872 William BEATTIE parents PETER & MARY was born in Tumut, NSW. Records show that he died in 1960 in Balmain, Sydney NSW at the age of about 88.
5.1874 Mary Jane BEATTIE parents PETER & MARY HENRIETTA was born in Tumut, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 20118/1874) In the year 1902 she married Mr Mr Donald Duncan Thomas in Tumut, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 2335/1902) She died in 1953 in Tumut, NSW at age 79.

7.23066/1878 Charlotte E BEATTIE parents PETER & MARY H was born in Tumut, NSW. It shows that in 1903 she married Mr Frank T CULGAN in COOTAMUNDRA, NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 8314/1903). Charlotte Ellen died in 1951 in Petersham, Sydney. NSW.
8.25423/1880 Robert BEATTIE parents PETER & MARY HENRIETTA was born in Tumut, NSW. In 1963 records show that Robert died in Tumut,NSW - (Ref- NSW BDM 31041/1963)
Messrs E. Wilkinson and Son are offering for sale at auction on 28th inst Mr. George Beattie's West Blowering farm of 340 acres (100 acres freehold and 240 acres C.P.), with frontage to the Tumut river. It is for absolute and bona-fide sale, the owner being about to leave the district.

APPLICATION will be made after fourteen days from the publication here of, that probate of the last Will of the of above named aforesaid named granted to George Tosich BEATTIE, of West blowering afore said, farmer, and Joseph LAMBERT, of East Blowering near Tumut aforesaid, Grazier, the Executors named in the said Will.
