Mr. Edwin George Bridle, who was killed in a motor accident at Coogee last weekend, was a native of Tumut, where he had followed farming and dairying pursuits all his life.
At the end of last year, he sold his property, Avenix, intending to live in retirement at Randwick.
He was at one time a committeeman of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, warden of the Anglican Church, and Justice of the Peace.
Mr. Bridle was 72 years of age, and was a son of Mr. William (2nd) Bridle, who died only a few years ago at the age of 95. - (Ref- The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954)(about) Previous issue Monday 17 June 1929 Page 16).
