Henry Cheney was born on the 21st December, 1835, in Buckinghamshire, being the 3rd child to John (1st) Cheney & Hannah TOFIELD in Buckinghamshire, England.

Henry was christened on the 22nd Ocober, 1837.

On thhe 6th April, 1860, Henry Cheney married Miss Sophia NOYES. She was the daughter of George and Sophia NOYES

Sophia NOYES was bon in 1845

She died on the 30rh April, 1925 in Wagga Wagga.

1. Robert (2nd) CHENEY was born in 1862 in Queanbeyan, NSW - she married Miss Susan OAKMAN on the 16th March, 1904.

2. Elizabeth CHENEY was born in 1864 in Wagga Wagga , She married Mr Robert LAWSON in 18881

3. William Henry CHENEY was born in 1867 in Albury. He married Miss Julia HAYDON in Wagga Wagga in 1887.

4. Matilda CHENEY was born in 1869. .

5. Alice Jane CHENEY was bprn in 1872 in Carabost, NSW. She married Mr George Willis CHENEY ON THE 9TH jULY, 1889.

6.Frederick CHENEY, was born on the 31stAugust, 1874, in Fairfield, NSW. He married Miss RAPLEY in 1909..

7. Mary (2nd) Ann CHENEY was born on the 9th September, 1877, in Carabost, NSW - she married Mr Edward OAKMAN
