Wiliam (4th) Eggleton was born on the 25th July, 1815, in Airds, Campbelltown. to parents William (3rd) Eggleton and Miss Sophia Rugless. He died in 1876 in Tumut.

William (4th) Eggleton married Miss Eliza Middleton on the 20th July, 1841, in the Church of England, Tumut.
