The death occurred in a private hospital in Wagga of Mr Thomas Halloran. Deceased had resided at Albury for about three years, and prior to that at Tarcutta for seven years.
He was a native of Tumut, and before leaving for Tarcutta was an overseer on East Blowering Station. He is survived by his wife, five sons and four daughters, also by six sisters, Miss M. Halloran (Sydney}, Mrs. R. Hayden (Tumut), Mrs. W. Kell (Tumut), Mrs. R. L. Blakeney (Tumut). and sister Jane Francjs (Sydney); and two brothers, Messrs. Thomas (1st) Halloran married Miss Emily Louise BAWDEN in 1899 in Tumut, NSW.
At the age of about 26 years his parents left Plymouth, together with and one child, for Australian on 29th December, 1853. After a voyage lasting 74 days they landed at Perth.
He was under the impression that Australia was like the United Kingdom and that a day’s journey would bring them from one town to another. However Patrick made the best of this disappointment and remained in Perth, which was then a convict settlement, for three years.

John C. Halloran, aged 17 years, a son of Mr Thos. Halloran, of Tumut Plains, died on Saturday as a result of being thrown from his horse on the second day of the Show, He was found unconscious by the roadside. The Coroner (Mr. R. L.
