1936 - Newspaper - Mr. and Mrs. Geoff Hooper, who, with their two small sons, Bill and John, have been holidaying at Manly, have returned to Cootamundra, and are busy putting finishing touches to their new home. - (Ref- The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954)(about) Previous issue Wednesday 26 February 1936.

1950 - Newspaper - HOOPER-ALLUM - The Engagement is announced of Nancy younger daughter of Dr and Mrs A E Allum of Collaroy to William eldest son of Mr G H Hooper of Talbingo. - (Ref- The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954)(about) Previous issue Saturday 12 August 1950).

In 1951 William Geoffrey Stephen HOOPER, married Miss Nancy Kathleen ALLUM in NORTH SYDNEY. - (Ref- NSW BDM 2068/1951). This couple were in later years to become close personal friends and business partners with Mr & Mrs Peter Lund

Two boys and two girls. of "Dunollie" Gilmore, a property situated across the dividing range between Blowering and Gilmore. The way the crow flies - not very far.
