WEDDING. LUND-FURNER. "High Knoll," at the Faithfull Street residence of Mr. and Mrs O. K. Furner, was this morning the scene of a quiet wedding, when Kathleen (Nurse), oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. K. Furner. was married to Svend, youngest son of Mrs Lund and of the late Rev. T. C. Lund of Copenhangon Denmark.. The Rev. C. P. Walkdon-Brown performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a fawn gabardinem coat and skirt, with brown hat trimmed with autumn leaves. Miss Nancye Furner, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, her frock being of white silk, trimmed with posles, ,with floral hat, Mr. L. Anderson, who was a brother-in-arms of the bridegroom in France, was best man. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a gold vanity box, and to the bridesmaid a gold Nellie Stewart bangle. After the ceremony a reception was held at "High Knoll," only the relatives of the bride being present. The Rev. C. P. Walkdon.Brown presided and the customary toasts were honoured. Later the happy couple departed for the coast.
