Lynette was born in Sydney and was about 10 years old when her family sold their three bedroom brick & tile Kingsgrove home and relocated to "Kinloch" West Blowering, via Tumut.

This allowed Lynette to develop an unchallenged love for animals and she gained the trust of all types.

After relocating to Tumut because of the resumption, Lyn married Roy Langley and they have one son. He is now married with two daughters and a son.
