Death: 7th December, 1974, in Gundagai.

•Note: (Gundagai Independent, 12 December, 1974) The death occurred at Gundagai Hospital on December 7th of Mrs Charlotte McIntyre, wife of the late Norman McIntyre. Mrs McIntyre was the last member of the Worldon family in which there were eleven children. Her father, Richard Worldon, was drowned in the 1891 flood. They lived all their life in the Gundagai district - for many years at Reno in the gold mining times and then moved to Kimo Road in 1925. She devoted her life to her husband and nine children and was always ready to help her neighbours and friends in need. The late Mrs McIntyre had a wonderful memory of the days spent at Reno and the experiences in the gold mining times. She had a great sense of humour and was loved by all who knew her. Mrs McIntyre was the mother of Dorothy (Mrs Jim Ryan, Gundagai), Hector (deceased), Marietta (Mrs Clive Taber, Coolac), *Norman (deceased), Hazel (Mrs Ross Rosler, Batlow), Eric (Tumut), Jack (Gundagai), Jean (Mrs Tom Hawker, Orange), and Fred (Gundagai)
