John MULHEARN was born in 1819 in County Longford, Ireland. His parents were Patrick MULHEARNE & Mary.
He died on the 10th April, 1897, in Dangelong near Cooma, NSW. His burial took place on the 12th April, 1897, in the Mittagang Cemetery, Cooma, NSW, in the Catholic section Grave 337 2.
John Mulhearn was a convict and in 1836 he was transported to the colony on the ship "Waterloo" for 7 years. He was assigned to William Jackson at Gundaroo NSW. Records show John was illiterate.
According to the 1890 Electoral Roll he held Dandalong Flat freehold and his occupation was a grazier.
His will made in 1897, he left everything to his wife Mary.
John Mulhearn married Miss Mary Ann COFFEY who was born in December, 1833, in County Sligo, Ireland. They married on the 18th January, 1850, in Nimmitabel, NSW.
