In 1869 Charles Albert ODDY, parents ODDY, Charles (1st) was born in TUMUT, NSW - (Ref NSW BDM 18762).
In 1911 Charles married Miss Mary Emma BRIDLE in Tumut, NSW. She was the daughter of John Edward & Susan Bridle of Tumut - (Ref NSW BDM 10819).
The marriage of Miss Emma Mary Bridle, daughter of the late John Bridle, of Bowlers Flat, Tumut, and Mr. Charles Albert Oddy was solmnised at All Saints' Church, Tumut, on Wednesday afternoon by the Rev Ross-Edwards, Miss Ada Bridle (niece of the bride) was bridesmaid, and Mr. C. W, Oddy (nephew of the bridegroom) filled the role of best man. - (Ref- Adelong and Tumut Express and Tumbarumba Post (NSW : 1900 - 1925)(about) Previous issue Friday 22 September 1911 Page 2).
Emma Oddy died many years later in Tumut in 1960 - (Ref NSW BDM 33645).
1936 - IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW SOUTH WALES.-Probate Jurisdiction.
-In the Will of CHARLES ALBERT ODDY late of Bowlers Flat near Tumut in the State of New South Wales Farmer deceased.-Application will be made after fourteen days from the publication hereof that Probate of the last Will and Testament of the abovenamed deceased may be granted to MARY EMMA ODDY the Executrix named in the said Will and all notices may be served at the offices of the undersigned All creditors In the Estate of the deceased are hereby required to send in particulars of their claims to: the undersigned within such period of fourteen days as aforesaid.
