The church had been nicely dacorated by the bride's friends with snowdrops, sweet peas and arum lilies, with a wedding bell of white flowers hung over the altar steps, making a beautiful ensemble. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, who gave her away, looked charming in a beautiful frock of white crepe de dime and silver lace,' trimmed with crystal and diamante forming true lovers' knots. Her veil, which formed a train, was kindly lent by her cousin, Mrs. Rex. Cumberland, of Harden {& recent bride) and she carried a sheaf of perle tinted sweet peas and stocks. Miss Gladys Weekes, sister of the bride, wore a dainty - bridesmaid's frock of mauve crepe de chine and silver lace, with georgette hat to match. and carried a bouquet of mauve stocks and sweet peas. As the bridal party entered the church the choir sang, 'The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden.' Mr. W. Oddy was best man. The church was crowded with friends and well-wishers of the young couple, who were besieged with congratulations upon leaving the church.

The reception was later held in the Mechanics' Institute where the immediate relatives and friends were received by the bride's mother, wearing a frock of black crepe de chine, relieved with beige, with small black hat to match. The usual toasts were enthusiastically honored, the happy couple later leaving by the Temora Mail for Sydney, the bride travelling in rose' beige charmalaine. with ribbon hat to match. A large crowd attended at the railway station to see them off. They received many beautiful wedding presents, including several cheques.
