1937 - FALL FROM FERRY STEAMER. -

Woman's Body Recovered. SYDNEY, Oct. 19.-The body of Miss Christine Honore Daley-Glennon (33), who fell from the Manly ferry steamer Bellubera on the night of October 12 was found at Lavender Bay today. Police ascertained that Miss Daley-Glennon was a schoolteacher who arrived from Tumut on October 9 and booked a room at the Hotel Sydney. She consulted a doctor and it is believed that her illness caused her to become depressed. - (Ref- The West Australian (Perth, WA : 1879 - 1954)(about) Previous issue Wednesday 20 October 1937).
