1926 - RUNNING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION - TWO BOYS SEVERELY INJURED - A remarkable accident occurred at Yaven Public School, in the Adelong district, when two students, William Adams and Roy Whiting came into violent collision when running in opposite directions. The impact was so severe that one of Whiting's legs was fractured, and Adams received concussion.
