DEATH OF MR. JOHN SHEATHER. - COOTAMUNDRA, Monday.

Mr. John Sheather, late of "Lily Hill", Stockinbingal, and previously of Jindalee and Cootamundra, died at Guildford on Saturday. He was one of the pioneers of Cootamundra district, having taken up land at Stockinbingal over 60 years ago.

For the past 16 years he had lived a retired life at Guildford. He is survived by Mrs. Sheather and a large family. His daughters are

Mrs. Meyers (Gladesville),

Mrs. Take (Wongara),

Mrs. Barnes (Goulburn),

Mrs. Whatham (Cootamundra),

Mrs. Bradley (Albury), and

Misses Gertie and Millie Sheather (Guildford),

His sons are Messrs.

Ernest (Auburn) and
